Impatient

Communication technology and the media have made me so impatient.  

I shouldn't play the victim here. 

But seriously, the first Grad School I heard back from (denied by ASU) was on February 11 and I still haven't heard from two others (Purdue and UT-Austin).  

I am really grateful, though, that a professor can send me an email that I can read at my convenience and respond to when I feel necessary.  

I'm also grateful I can look up each program online and I don't have to order catalogs from every University I applied to.

    Sorry about ASU. Denial emails are no fun. But I have to agree... media has made me the most impatient person in the world. In my family we say my husband has road rage and I have computer rage. I have had high speed internet since I was like 13 or 14 and ever since, Internet slow or down= WWII. I will call up the provider and gripe, and I go crazy trying to make it work. For one semester my husband and I got rid of internet- we had a much happier life.
